The Nail & Waxing Specialization Certificate Course is a 12-week, in-depth aesthetics training program designed for individuals ready to master both natural nail enhancements and professional waxing techniques. This certification bundles all nail and waxing instruction under one category, offering students a complete and culturally competent approach to aesthetics.



In this course, students learn the fundamentals and advanced techniques of gel polish, builder gel, and acrylic nail systems, as well as body and facial waxing services that prioritize client safety, skin sensitivity, and hygiene. Whether you’re new to the field or adding to your skillset, this course prepares you to deliver beauty services that meet the highest industry standards—while being adaptable to a wide range of skin types and cultural needs.

  • Gel polish systems: base, build, color, top coat

COS 106 : WIG CONTRUCTION

The course covers the detailed process of making wigs using a sewing machine, focusing on practical techniques and tips for both beginners and experts in wig making. It includes: 1. Introduction to Tools and Equipment: Explanation of various canvas head sizes, the importance of client measurements, and different types of wig caps such as dome caps, ventilated caps, and adjustable strap caps. 2. Measurement and Fitting: Instructions on how to measure and transfer these dimensions onto a canvas head to ensure a proper fit for the client. 3. Preparing the Wig Cap: Steps on pinning the wig cap on the canvas head using T-pins, resizing the cap to avoid bumps, and flattening it before sewing. 4. Sewing Techniques: Detailed guidance on preparing the sewing machine, threading correctly, understanding tension settings, and using the correct needle size. It explains the zigzag stitch technique commonly used on wigs. 5. Constructing the Wig: Step-by-step guide on adding closures and bundles to the wig cap. The course explains double/triple wefting techniques and the fold-over method for sewing without cutting the wefts. 6. Finishing Touches: Instructions on adding adjustable straps for better fit and attaching wig combs for added security. The course emphasizes the importance of a neat finish and offers styling tips for presenting the finished wig. Overall, the course is designed to be practical and hands-on, It ensures a comprehensive understanding from taking initial measurements to the final styling and quality check before delivery.
